The 49th Convention of Nikkei and Japanese Abroad
In TOKYO


All the programs have finished.
The Convention report is in preparation now.
 
The object in holding the convention is to furnish opportunities for the Japanese descendants all over the world to provide information about their countries and to discuss among themselves ways of further strengthening ties of brotherhood and solidarity while keeping in mind the significance of cultural and personal exchanges as the main theme.
It is cordially requested that as many Nikkeis and Japanese Abroad as possible will attend this convention.

Nikkei communities living in the age of globalization
―In search of their ways and roles―
Agenda:
1.
Increasingly closer relations among countries around the world,
 especially between the countries of NIKKEI residents and Japan
2.
The growing importance of strengthening networks and reciprocal
 relations between Nikkei communities and Japan
3.
The increasing need for persons of Nikkei heritage to work in Japan
4.
Expanding and enhancing the right to vote outside Japan

Use subway "Yurakucho line", "Hanzomon line", or "Nanboku line". Get off at "Nagatacho" station. 5-minute-walk from the "2nd Exit". Subway "Chiyoda line" or "Marunouchi line" can be used as well. Get off at "Kokkai gijido mae" station and walk about 7 minutes from the "2nd Exit".
